Jungle Maze

Introduction

Jungle Maze is a top-down shooter game with procedural map generation. In this game, players need to fight through to the end using diverse collected supplies.

Unlike other PCG games, Jungle Maze implemented adaptive procedural content generation, allowing players to directly manipulate the map generator. In this game, players can get terrain and enemy cards besides weapon and health cards. By using these cards, players can specify what kind of enemies and terrains will appear more likely in the next level. The key to winning this game is to combine appropriate enemy/terrain cards according to current weapons. For example, the bouncing bullets are more powerful between walls than on islands.
